Christmas Swap 2015

This was the Santa Sack Swap in 2015. We had six months to put together six items including a tote. I really enjoyed working on these items, but they were a lot of work. I doubt I will join a swap with this much work involved again. I found it was getting too time consuming, but I did really love the creative process! These are the items I sent out to my partner, all of which I made:

A sewing kit with a pop-up (and snapped in) thread catcher, place for embroidery scissors, a needle case, a ring for embroidery floss, pockets for small notebook and other notions:





A couple of knitted washcloths in peppermint stripes and lattice stitch:


A paper-pieced pineapple block decoration (about 4" square)


A garland of knitted decorations of snowmen, Christmas trees and Santas:






A tote to be used for projects to take on the go. There were ample pockets inside for knitting needles, crochet needles, and instruction books:


A quilted table runner in the Sawtooth Star pattern:
